Tuesday
-Tuesday was bath day :-) All the babies smelled so good, at least for a little while!
-We sang lots of songs to the babies- all the songs we could think of..... song suggestions are welcome! We're running out of ideas!
-Work up to fireworks very close by (they are to scare away the evil spirits)
Wednesday
-Went to the Dragon Boat Festival and saw the HOGL team race :-)
-Ate ice cream (Thank you, Natalie!)
-Had a Chinese donut!
Overall, two good days!!!

As for songs, Joshua really liked/likes hymns and campfire songs (Be Thou My Vision, Come thou Font, Seek Ye First, Create in me a clean heart, oh how he loves you and me, and How Great is our God). For fun any nursery rhymes, or Sunday School songs (My God is so Big, Head and shoulders, Knees and Toes, Jesus loves me, etc.) Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteThe babies stayed at home for this outing. I have no idea what kind of ice cream it was. Something kind of fruity with some sort of nut in it. I've learned that sometimes it's best not to ask what is in it! It was okay, but it didn't have chocolate in it, so it couldn't have been that great! Thanks for the song suggestions, Sarah!
